when a normal person without gynecomastia pinches the areola with his fingers, what is he supposed to feel?
just soft fat tissue? or do everyone have a little hard gland tissue behind the areolas?

All men have at least a little breast tissue directly beneath the areola.  It can be as soft and pliable as the skin and fat adjacent to the areola.  One cannot tell by feel alone what type of tissue is present -- but anatomical dissections and microscopic exam of the tissue can reveal the presence of breast tissue there.
