Hi. I just had my gynecomastia surgery on Monday, Nov. !4th. I have noticed a lack of energy since the days following the surgery ( i feel maybe at 70%). This is my first surgery of any kind. I know my body has been through trauma and will need time to heal, but how long  approx. will i feel this way? Is there anything i can do to regain energy, or should i rest even more? I slowly have been getting back to normal life , but have not been able to go back to work (bartending), and need to soon to start paying my surgery bill : )   .  Also, how soon will i be able to sleep on my side?

Thanks in Advance

It's normal to feel some fatigue after surgery, and that can take a bit to resolve.  By now you should be feeling a little more energetic.  I'd also guess that you can sleep on your side by now. I allow my patients to sleep on their side when it's comfortable. You should check with your surgeon.

Feel free to check back if thanks aren't progressing.
