Hello,

I had Gynecomastia surgery 5 weeks ago and incision was closed under the nipple. So there is no scar but incision line is noticeable. Can scar gel or sillicone pad help to minimize scaring and heal faster? Please help.

The scar at the areola edge is a very good quality scar at 5 weeks.  Yes, scar treatment can be beneficial.  The fold above the scar will improve also as the swelling resolves, however, possibly not 100%. Good luck.

Yes, scar gel can be helpful in improving the appearance of incisions. You are only 5 weeks out so there is still healing to be done. Scars continue to improve over time and even up to one year you could see changes.
