how to manage 1st week post-op

This is in continuation to my msg (Do somebody need to accompany me during surgery):

Thinking about daily routines (from having bath, taking food to ...), am scared whether I would be able to manage on my own.
Guys, post-op, do you need somebody to be with you for the first 3 days atleast to help you with daily routines? 
Please advise.

oh...okay. i asked this question because many mentioned in this forum that moving your arms will hurt your chest. so was really wondering whether i would need some attendant for 1st week atleast...
