I have seen a few people mention flax seed oil on this site.  Can someone tell me what exactly this is?  How is it used?  What effect  does it have?  ETC..........
Thanks for any info.

It is taken as a capsule or it can be liquid (and possibly powder).
It serves as an Anti-Estrogen.

It contains omega-3 fatty acids like found in fish oil.Omega-3 fatty acids have been found to help lower triglyceride levels in the blood.Flax seed it self can be ground and added to many recipes, especially baked goods.I have used it in making smoothies. Most large grocery stores carry it in their health food departments.
