Do all endocrinologists know about and deal with Gyne?

I'm going to be making an appointment soon, but I want to make sure I'll be seeing someone who isn't clueless about gynecomastia.  Is it something that all endos know about or not?

Endocrinologists specialize in different areas. You need to see an Endocrinologist that deals with the male hormonal/reproductive system.

So, how the hell do you find that out?  Just keep calling endos and asking?  I've got a list of endos in my insurance network, and I hope I can find somebody......

Also, if you don't really expect there to be a hormonal problem, is it okay to just get a consulation with a gyne surgeon before getting a blood test?

ALL the endos below are in the Chicago area, ALL of them list reproductive endocrinology as an area of interest (tends to best cover gynecomastia) and all of the doctors are listed as board certified.

You will have to vet them yourself as I do not know them personally, but if I were you I would ring a few of them and consider making an appointment with the one you feel most comfortable with.  You should also pass on the details of the chosen endocrinologist to your gp.  You should be able to ask any/all reasonable questions of the endo/or their secretary that you have in mind, both of a medical and insurance nature.
