Anyone have an opinion on what to put on scars to help them fade?
I've heard Vit E oil is good, but I've also heard that it's just a myth.   There seems to be so many scar creams available it's hard to know what really works the best.   Any thoughts?

I used Palmers Cocoa Butter w/vitamin E on my stretch marks that were caused by weight gain. Didn't seem to make any difference tho. :-/

Also, keep healing scars away from sunlight. Apearently, direct sunlight can damage the healing scar tissue.

My PS told me to keep the 'healing' wounds away from direct sunlight. I take it from that, that once the wounds have healed, it would be okay to expose the area to sunlight. Within moderation of course. Don't pull off a Kramer and cook yourself.  ;)

You may want to consider a fairly strong sunblock.
