when i go and take a bloodtest to check my levels...can the docs see if ive been smoking marijuana.. ive had gyne for like 10 years and smoked mj for about 1 year on a daily basis but it didnt make my gyne any worse or better....as of today i only smoke a few times a month and im gonna go the doctors to check my hormone levels so should i be worried or stop smoking...

I'm not 100% sure, But I think the Doctor will only be able to tell if a specific test for Marijuana is done.

On the other hand, You should really be completely honest with your Doctor and not leave out any medications or drugs used. The doctor cannot do the best for you if you are keeping such things secret.

Agree with Paa_Paw.  You should inform your doctor of any recreational drugs you have taken as well as any physician prescribed drugs and any over the counter medications.  The doctor must have an accurate idea of all your medications in order to assure your safety during surgery.

As for detecting MJ in your blood, that would require a specific blood test which is not usually requested by surgeons.  We do routine screening blood tests -- but not for MJ.
