Hi,

One of my biggest fears about having surgery is that my chest skin will end up feeling "not quite normal", in the sense of the nerves never quite recover, and it either feels numb and slightly not my own, or even worse the pins & needles/stabbing pains stick around.

Could anyone whose had surgery a reasonably long time ago let me know if this fear has any substance (I'd be thinking of the surgery with Mr Levick, so comments from long term post-OPs of his would be particularly welcome)

Also since Levick severs the nerve to the nipple does that mean it never regains sensation?
