I started a new thread here, since MV posted his question in the doctor's section which doesn't allow us members to answer. But since he asked us as well, here is his post:

"Dear Doctors and other forum members,

I took 2 x 1mg tablets of Finasteride (and literally I mean just 2), the first one on the Thursday, the second one on the Saturday, as I wanted to take it 3 times a week. On the Sunday evening I started to experience severe breast pain, sensitivity, tingling and itchiness (one-sided, only on the left). It's been 2 weeks now since I stopped taking the medication and since the symptoms started. The pain comes and goes at times, but it's almost always there (pain, sensitivity to cold and hot, e.g., t-shirt touching my nipple triggering pain and sensitivity). I can't seem to see any lumps and if there is swelling, it's extremely mild (unnoticeable). Just to be clear, the pain was so severe that I can't sleep, even after taking painkillers. I saw my doctor who said Finasteride can't give me gyno only after 2 tablets.
My question is, will the pain, sensitivity and tingling go away? I am less concerned about whether it is visible or not (I'm very lean, skinny but kind of muscly overall), but these sensations are driving me crazy, it's something really difficult to live with, it's distracting and terribly annoying.

I would be really grateful for any thoughts/advice you might have."
A bra is just an article of clothing for people with breasts.

MV, I think your doctor is completely right with his answer that only two(!) tablets of finasteride of 1 mg can't induce gynecomastia. There are many men with prostate problems (BPH) who take 5 mg Finasteride daily and don't develop gynecomastia or breast pain even after some months. Nevertheless you should seek medical advice because of your breast pain. It's a pity that gynecologists (at least in my country) are not allowed to treat men but they are the specialists for breast problems. Maybe a surgeon could help you.

I’ve been on 5 mg Finasteride daily for BPH for about a year and a half.  I also had preexisting gyno that had stabilized (not getting worse), since starting TRT about five years ago.  My gyno has remained stable (or at a maximum has been very minor growth) since starting Finasteride.

There's no way that 2 pills will give you gynomastia.  It takes weeks for symptoms to show and usually months.  This seems to be more of a psychological issue.
