Someone help me here, please. I've been done dressing over my chest and a tight corset above it. I should not remove it for 10 days till I see doctor. I'm staying with friends and I do NOT want to smell bad. Someone please suggest some very good idea. I think perfumes and deodorants will not be of much help since 10days without bath is really a long one :(

10 days to leave a dressing in place seems a bit excessive to me.

I allow my patients to shower after 2 days, so I'm not sure why you have to wait 10 days.  If that's the case, a sponge bath and deodorant is about as good as you can do, but you may want to ask your surgeon specifically about the timing.

I spoke to my surgeon and he said okay to remove the corset, shower under dressing and sponge bath above dressing will be good. So i'm following that. But corset is more painful than I ever thought.
