Hello forum, I have been a member for a while but I am at a place now where I can begin the surgery process.
I have had gyno since I was 20. I do not know what caused it but it does run in my family as do large nipples in males. I feel that it may be a genetic in my case however I was on medication at the time that could have mad it worse. Fast forward 17 years and here I am with painful gynecomastia. I do have secondary hypogonadism and I am on TRT with an AI. I have been on since 2007. I am a little overweight but only in my torso (insulin resistance).
I want to go through my insurance if possible since my case meets the necessary criteria.
I live in Chattanooga TN.
I am looking to find a surgeon near Atlanta, Knoxville, Nashville or Birmingham. Pretty much within a 2-4 hr drive for me.
Has anyone here had success with a doctor in this vicinity getting any insurance coverage of the procedure?
Who can you recommend?
