I recently had a consultation where the surgeon said he uses a Z-shaped incision Under the nipple. I've never heard or read about that. Has anyone else heard of this technique?

Why would he not do the normal circular incision and the nipple circumference?

I think the Z-shaped one would be super obvious to see and harder to heal... am I right?

I'm not sure what you mean by a z-shaped incision under the nipple.  Not something I've ever seen.
