Hi,

I had surgery 3 months ago with a very reputable surgeon here in the UK.

I have done everything asked of me in terms of recovery, however just worried everything is not coming along as expected.

I have been massaging in the shower and followed all the instructions etc so i'd hope all is ok.

My right nipple in particular feels very tightly bound to my chest.

I will be seeing my surgeon in january but I wanted to know if it was more pressing?

If so what are the options/routes.

I have full faith in my surgeon, but of course i'm a worrier.

Thanks

Your right areola has a small horizontal crease in the upper area.  Massage is good and often this corrects itself over time as the body lays down collagen or scar tissue.  Obviously discuss this with your surgeon at your next visit, as I know you will.  If it doesn't improve, fat grafting or a little dermal filler such as Juvederm may help.

You can try pulling te nipple areola skin away from the muscle and "rolling" it between your fingers.
