Wearing the vest
I just got surgery done today but I dont remember how long to doctor told me to keep the vest on for AND could i take it off just to see what my chest looks like

Yeah dude, keep it on for at least 4 weeks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But just ask you doc. I think though its okay to take 2 breaks each day for like 15 minutes.

Mine recommended 4-6 weeks 24/7 but could start to take it off after 4 weeks and listen to your body.  If it begins to swell then just pop it back on or wear it for sure when u sleep.

Depends who your doctor is.

I've been told I only need it for 3 weeks 24/7... but it could be different for each person. You should leave it on for 48 hours after surgery before you remove it and shower.

A month 24/7 ... is a good bet.

Have a shower 3 days after your op and have a peek then.
