Hi, im in the UK and had my surgery on our NHS, 6 months ago i had lipo, and around 2 weeks ago i had the incision and had the gland removed.
My RHS was very swollen until the other day when i started to do circular motions with my finger around the nipple area.   This hurt a little but the difference within a few mins was amazing.  It has now completely gone down compared to how it was.  I have however noticed bruising coming out so iam now assuming that this could have been trapped blood and this has now been released via the massage, could i be right?
should i continue to massage the area?.
Any help would really be good as i dont really know what to do for the best.
I know there is always a lot of new threads on here but could someone please help? ???

I had surgery about 30 days ago and I do the massage too.

Yes, it helps to drain those fluids to the lymphatic system.
It's very good. You can do that (the lymphatic drainage) with a physiotherapy pro. Or take a look aroud in the Net to learn about.

I just made a Google's search and found this one:
