I have had puffy nipples since I was 12, I am 23 now, and I have always been tired of them, some people have made fun of me, and I am always afraid of taking my shirt off on the beach.

I am sick of it, I have to make them go hard sometimes to not look freaky.

They are basically the size of small lemons, but since I work out, most of the mass gets covered by muscle, but the nipples itself are puffy and big.

I have the money and I really want to operate them, however I have heard bad news about opperating puffy nipples on this board.

From what I´ve heard, the doctor takes some of the fat mass out, but apparently a crater is left.
And though there is no longer a hard thing inside the nipple area, they still puff out, thats why I´ve heard.

I went to see a doctor once, and he said he didnt recommend it because my case was not that big, and if I try to reduce the area of my nipples by cutting them, a nasty scar will be visible.

I don´t know how nasty this scar is, is it worst than having big nipples?, Is it true what he said, or he was just not an specialist in that department?.

I mean I hate my problem I just want it to go away, however I don't know if the cure is worst than the disease, and need your opinion.

I just had the surgery a week ago today.  I had the areolas made much smaller in diameter, gland excision, and lipo.  I'm here to tell you I would rather take my shirt off in public with my bruises and stitches still in place than to take it off with my nipples looking the way they did before.  The incision is made at the edge of the areola where dark skin meets light skin, so it's not as apparent as one might think.  Go to a plastic surgeon who does this stuff for a living.  A lot of them give free consultations.  I get so tired of hearing about doctors blowing this stuff off just because they don't understand it and don't want to talk about it.

fgyno, my P.S. told me that they would shrink a little without the gland putting pressure on them but not enough to compensate for my bigguns.
They were a little over 2 1/2" in diameter and ballooned out completely round and smooth while relaxed.  Now they are about the size of a nickel and completely flat.  8)

I was given a price that was all-inclusive so I don't know how the areola reduction would itemize out.   The whole surgery was $3,875.00.

My puffy nipples are about 1-3/4 in diameter and absolutely normal when hard. Do I also need an areaolar reduction in order for them to look normal?, or they will look normal just by taking off the gland?.

And why do doctors talk about the scars as if they were a big deal, I am guessing the scars can't be to big, maybe a small line around the nipple.

And there is also scar removal with laser and stuff isnt it?

Yeah I also wanna get the aereola reduction. I have seen post op pics of people with areolas the same size but flat, they basically didnt have the aereola reduction, how are the scars?

I mean there is lazer tech to erase scars.
