Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has any good posts or articles that I could show my parents to convince them to take me to a surgeon. Thanks!

The links below discuss the mental health effects of gynecomastia. The sourced study also found that this effect was consistent regardless of severity and could not be explained by BMI/being overweight.

Also dude, just tell them how it has affected you. If they say that its not a big deal, tell them that doesn't matter. Its about your own self image, feeling comfortable in your own skin, self-esteem etc.

Here's a link to real self, which shows that the procedure has a 96% satisfaction rate (but please do your research and find a surgeon who specializes in the procedure. Knowing how much gland to leave behind the nipple, how to contour the chest with lipo are ARTS that require skill and experience).

Best of luck, man!
