Hey guys, I'm scheduled for surgery on the 7th, and had a few questions.  Does the vest go on as soon as I come home from surgery?  He also told me I am going to have a drain in for the first few days to avoid infection, something I haven't seen at all on these boards.  Does the vest go on over the drain? Thanks.

I didn't have a drain(s) but I would assume that the drain would be on the outside of the vest. Would you not need to empty it/them upon getting full?

I have never heard of the fact that drains will prevent infection.  ???   I can't see this being true...

I have unilateral, so i will have one drain.  he said hes doing both lipo, and gland removal.  the 7mm thick drain will go in one of the lipo holes, and then it will be taken out a few days later.  Im just wondering how that works with the vest.

THE DRAINS ARE JUST LITTLE TINY TUBES AND THE VEST GOES ON RIGHT OVER THEM......WHEN YOU WAKE UP THE DRAINS ARE IN ALREADY AND THE VEST IS ALREADY ON YOU...
