So i had my surgery 2 weeks ago, and now that the numbness has almost dissapeared i can feel some really hard tissue under my armpits and under my nipples.

Is this normal? Will it go away?

It took about 6 months for all of the hard tissue to disappear after my surgery.

I did massage it. Don't know if really helped or not, but it all did go away.

1 week post op my chest looked awesome. It was really flat, but now 3 weeks later it looks like like a mild case of my previous gynecomastia.

Is this because of the damn scar tissue? god damnit

The same happened to me.

My surgeon said that immediately after surgery, the skin really retracts, but that after a few weeks it relaxes. The result is your boobs look bigger. But then as the months pass the skin retracts again to its final position. Of course all this depends on the amount of fat removed and the elasticity of your skin (which is very age dependent).

And that has been exactly my experience. I'm now 7 months out.
