I'm the assistant coach for my son's soccer team and tonight, while playing goal during practice, I didn't notice the team's strongest striker line one up when I wasn't looking.  Hit me square on the chest, left side.  Ouch!

Later while taking off the second stage compression shirt (I had just received it in the mail and tried it on for a few hours during practice and after), I noticed a horizontal raised line going from the nipple inwards towards the center of my chest several inches and the nipple outwards towards my arm pit for maybe an inch.

Is this the result of the soccer ball impact?  Or perhaps the new compression vest I'm wearing (which is actually much tighter than the after surgery compression vest?

Should I do anything?  Ice?  Advil?

 ???
