Team,

Just had a local revision, i had a small pinch of scar tissue on my left side, very small.  It was a short surgery about 20 minutes.  He basically cut out the scar tissue from inside my nipple, i heard it, it was crazy.

Anywho they said i did not need to wear a compression vest like the first surgery.  The next day up until now (5 days later) my nipple is massive looks like a mountain below my nipple.  Just a little bruising but nothing crazy like the first time.  Should I have worn a vest?  I mean after the first big surgery my nipple was no where near as big as it is now.  My surgent did 160 gyno's just last yr so i trust him but what up w/ this nipple how is it just this big? just swollen?

thanks in advance

Your best option would be to go talk to your surgeon I am sure he will be able to tell you what went wrong.

I suspect what you have is swelling -- which occurs after any surgery (or trauma).  There is absolutely no harm in wearing the vest!  Would still consult with your surgeon to make sure there is no blood collection at the operative site.
