Hi all,
i'm really glad i bumped into this site and read
a lot about this "bitch breasts" problem. This really helps
me knowing this condition is not uncommon.
Well, 17 years ago i was this skinny 100 pounder
desperately hoping to gain a little bit of muscle.
I started working out and after almost 2 years of hardwork
i finally packed some 12 lbs of muscle. Some of
my friends in the gym asked me if i wanted to bulk-
up some more in just 2 months. I knew they're
talking about steroids and out of my curiousity
and a bit of stupidity, i tried it. The result was really
amazing. After a couple of tries i decided to stop
cause i know there would be side effects. After few
months i noticed a small lump under my nips. I knew
it is gynecomastia and its the side effect of the gear.
Since then it has really affected me in so many ways.
No matter what i do it won't go away. I lost a bit of
my self esteem. I tried everything to hide it and
everytime i look at the mirror it really upsets me.

I plan to have this operated sometime next year.
Im sick and tired of hiding it, i wanna feel
normal again.  ::)

Giving the fact that 60% of male will have gynecomastia in their life time you are normal! And me being one of the older generation and have seen what happens as we age. I'll lay money on it that you and most of the guys will have some bigger boobs later in life!

All that being said, I understand that you are younger now and desire to have the "look"!  So as you look for your surgeon be sure that he/she has experience with gyne surgery and can show you their work. I have seen far too many unhappy people on this forum after their surgery!

You have access to some great doctors right here on the forum and a host of guys that can recommend doctors that have done them well.

Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum!

You do have gyne, some of which is due to being overweight.  There may also be some extra gland tissue due to your steroid intake.

Recommend exercise, working out and observation.  You may need surgery in the future -- but give it a try now.
