Quite a few posts talk about needing kenelog shots post surgery to reduce scar tissue after 6 months or so. If I was out of the country for the year after my surgery and was unlucky enough to need the kenelog shots, would it matter if I had them at 6 months or 12 months or even 18months? Do they need to be given "early enough" to be effective or is whenever fine?

Kenalog injections can be done at any time.  I generally don't administer then before 4-6 months post op -- but then they can be given any time after that.
