Questions on scar tissue - when will it go away?
I'm 1 month post op and have hard scar tissue (I thought it was a rib) formed on the lower pec and extending out to beneath the armpit area. How long will it take for it to go away? When is a good time to start massaging and how long should I massage for each day?

Massage, if done too early can actually cause some swelling.

Would suggest you address these questions directly to your surgeon -- he knows your case best and is in the best position to advise you.\\
