After almost 15 months, I went for revision with Dr. Fielding on December 7th, 2007. It was Friday at 11am and last for about 1 hour.

Very surprise about the whole 2nd experience than the first one. When I had my 1 yr consultation with Dr. fielding, he was ok with my result. But, it was me who ask for revision. So he told me to go for just lipo in small OT that will cost me $1000 than the normal operation done like first time which can cost me over $2000. But I was scared. so I asked him to go with like first one. But he convinced me with first option. He told me that not to worry as he do like this kind of operation every week. I agreed to first option but was scared till the last second (honest to god). Totally not fond of watching a show in front of your eyes.

Friday come, with my wife we went to hospital at 10 am. Did registration and went to small room at 10:30 am. It was really small corridor and small room where I can hear from outside that DR. JCF talking to someone in inside room ... OT room. Nurse came and gave me the apron to wear and ask me to wait. 5 minutes later, JCF came out and greed my wife and me and escorted me to room near by. Inside room, that was a small operation table ... feel like a OT. At 10:45 it started. As usual, he took picture, mark the chest to work on. And then I am on the table. Then nurse (we were only 3 in room) start giving me local anesthesia on both side. At 11 am, JCF start the work on left side. Before that he explain me that it may feel weird. But no pain. He did so for like 5 minutes. Then come right side. He start doing there and he was going deep. And that time, I felt some pain. So I told me so. So he gave me more local anesthesia. That time I request him to wait for 5 minutes before he start again. And he agreed. We chat for 5 minutes. Then he start again. But I still was feeling some pain. So he go on heavy dose for anesthesia. During that time, he did somework on left side again. Then right side. Now I was ok. No pain. Just weird feeling. It was about 11:30 and we were done.  Then nurse clean up my body. Asked me for a water. And put the belt on. 11:45, I was out of the room. And surprise, 11:55 I was out of the hospital. I was so shocked. And surprised. That no rest after surgery. But honestly, you don;t need one. JCF told me that I will be good to go to work on Monday. But I took week vacation just in case. But today, Monday, I think I can go to work. Well, yesterday, I already went out for dinner and no one even noticed.

I hope this time, my result will be good to be true. I thing I must say that whatever the outcome, I have never seen doctor like JCF in my life. He is very nice doctor and very nice person.

By the way, just in front of my OT table, there was a clock where I was watching all the moments !!!

Congrats on your revision I sincerely hope it was the last time for you.

I'm still wondering if I'll go for the revision with Dr Fielding but your post is reassuring me a little bit.

Keep us updated with your results.

Good luck!

G Man:

Honestly, he told me before the surgery that it's hard to get the 100% result even after the revision. But I insist him for. And we did it. He told me it would be 70% better than before. So I know it won't be right on money but whatever sucks out .... better.

So I think you should consider all fact before you go again. Else you will feel loser again.

Good Luck.

Hi,

I am just wondering what is your status now? It seems it's been a couple of weeks and I just wanted to know your progress.
Are you happy with the revision?

Hi:

It's still early to tell. It's only been 3 week. But I think, once I will hit the gyme, it will be much better. I will wait for another week or so to hit the gyme as there are some (very few) swolen parts near nipple area. And I don't want to take a chance. But overall surgery wise it's total different experience than the firat one as I was alomost ready to go for work just after 3 days.

Regards.
