I just met up with the PA for my 2nd post op visit. It's been 3 weeks since surgery. I was told I still had some swelling, yet I don't feel much pain or numbness. She told me swelling typically lasts for around 3 months, and hopefully my chest would go down shortly.

Just wanted to know, how can you tell if it's swelling or just not enough fat that was removed? My left breast still has similar texture as it did before surgery and I feel very little pain or numbness.

Same here, but we have to be patient guys. I'm only 1 month post op and I can trully see some important changes; however, My left side seems to be bigger. PS told me that in that side she'd worked a little bit more, and there's more scar tissue under the skin. She told me I might be patient, wait 2 months more, and if it doesn't get better, I'll go into esteroid injections
