I've had gynecomastia for 2-2.5 years (I'm not completely sure) and am now nearly 15 (turning 15 in April). Approximately 6 months ago, the gynecomastia went away completely on one breast, but stayed exactly the same on the other. In the 6 months since then there has been no change.

My question is: Is there still a chance of the other side going away on its own? Or will surgery/drugs be necessary?

Thanks in advance.

Virtually all young men as they go through puberty will have a mass under the nipple that is palpable that typically regresses with time. With regards to your request, as a minor, I would suggest you discuss the issue with your parents and proceed from there.

In most cases of gynecomastia that occur during puberty, resolution occurs within three years of onset, so it's possible that it may still resolve.
