Hello I would like to know if i can take percocet for headache pains one or two days before having my procedure done

Percocet has tylenol in it, not aspirin.  It is perfectly safe.

Thank you doctor I was a little concerned and didnt want to call mr. Kieth jeffords, which is recommended on this site; afraid of breaking rules by taking prescrips before my operation. for anyone reading who is interested ill let you know how i feel about the job he does. Thanks again doctor

Percocet does not contain any aspirin like products so from an anti-coagulation standpoint it should not be a problem,however percocet for headaches is unusual.If you have a very low tolerance for pain you should point this out to your physician prior to the surgery.

Thanks doctor I appreciate your concern however i dont have a low tolerance to pain I just happened to have purchased my prescriptions a few days prior to surgery and I figured if I have some of the good stuff I might as well use it if its not going to be problem.. Lol I admit it was totally unnecessary but again I appreciate your concern.
