Doctors,
I had gyne surgery 9 months back. I was disappointed with the result as I have some depression and fat left on right-side.
Please check my post-op pics.

I have some queries:
1) How does my chest look to you? DOes it still look like gyne?
2) How can the depression be corrected?
3) Would liposuction alone solve my problem? or would I need fat flaps?
4) would I need any gland excision?

Appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.
Karthik.

I would tend to give things a bit more time it looks a bit lumpy
and not knowing what you looked like prior to surgery or what was done I would let things settle.

It would be useful to know how things looked pre-op to get a sense of how much improvement you've had.  It doesn't look like you still have gynecomastia, nor does it look like fat flaps would be an option for resolution--that works for depression under the areola. It's tough to say from the photos what the best option would be for improvement.

DrPensler,
I am already 9 months post-op. do u think my chest could improve further? how much more time should I wait? When you say "it's lumpy", r u referring to right side of my chest? i don't feel any "lump" on right side. it's soft only.. what about the depression? is it not visible?

Dr. Rick Silverman,
so you don't see any depression on my chest?.. any improvements you could suggest?

Thank you doctors for your feedback.

There are clearly contour irregularities, but the single views you've posted don't show them very well.

As you can see, evaluating photos can be difficult, even for experienced gyne surgeons.

Better suggestion:  either return to your original surgeon to discuss your concerns or visit an experienced gyne surgeon for an opinion about revision.  It seems to me that part of your problem is some skin laxity, which may be from either aging or prior overweight.  If there are areas of residual fat, those areas can be lipo'd.  And if there is a depression, there may be ways to correct that as well.

Good luck!
