Just taken my bandages off. I'm pretty pleased with what I saw.

I deliberately took the photos in the room in my house with the most natural sunlight, so the brusing is as bad as it could possibly look.

The red marks and black crap you see near the top of my chest are just the marks from the bandages which I'm about to go clean off.

Anyway, take a look and let me know what you think please!

Thanks a lot.

There's definitely a bit of bruising to clear up, but I'm only 6 days post-op, so that's to be expected really.

Cheers again.

Wow.  As mild as it was the change is still significant.  Well done.  Was it just lipo?

Nope. Excision too.

My surgeon told me at consultation that I was mostly gland.. but then after the surgery, he told me that it was actually a bit of both. He also said that a lot more came out than he thought he'd find.

200 cc fat, 100 cc gland.. although I'm not sure if that's for both, or each. I'll ask when I call tomorrow.

Thanks, btw.

Just to update:

The only bruising I can see now is when I hold a lampshade close to my chest. Then I can see a little.

My nipples are really coming along too. I'll take some pics this weekend. I'm just about to go get drunk (I am over a week post op, don't worry) wearing just a t-shirt.  ;)

Debating whether to go for the op? DO IT!!

OK, got some new photos. These are on my 11th day post op.

I said somewhere on here that I have no bruising left - on reflection that's not quite true. However my bruising is only apparent in very bright light (which it is in the room I take my photos - so the bruising looks its very worst) and as you can see in comparison to the 6 day post op photos, is disappearing FAST!

As you can see, I've included one of the.. I guess, for us, "Holy Grail" pics - a tight white t shirt. For the benefit of the UK subforum guys, I call it "The Chorlton"  :D

I took one so that you can see what the insicion looks like. It's clearing up fairly well thus far. It's hidden under my arm when stood normally, btw.
