Quick question about compression vest ...

Been wearing mine night & day for about 8 weeks even though Levick told me to wear it for a month lol.

Im now just going to wear mine at night and not during the day ... thing is though is it okay for me to do that ??

What im tryna say really is wearing it even though I was advised to just wear it for a month wont do any harm will it?

I mean I have a tiny bit of scar tissue on my left handside and i feel as if wearing it at night actually helps compress it down and reduce it.

wearing it for extra time wont do any harm.
its just to keep everything in place and help the healing process
do remember to massage the scar tissue

Ok, excellent, just wanted re-assurance.

And yes, im massaging it gently every day its definitely helping.

I've was advised i may have to wear mine for between 1-4 months (which is why i chose to have the operation in the autumn), depending on how i heal, and how the skin adapts to the 'New Me'. 

I'm just under two weeks post op, have a check up in 2 weeks time, so should have a clearer idea then, and will let you know. 

Though of course, everyone is different, and will heal at different rates dependant on age, type of job, diet, genetics etc.

Well I figured since most my bodily changes happen in my sleep it would be best for me to only wear it while im asleep .... I'll probably wear it every night till I see my surgeon in February next year for my checkup as I dont mind.
