Where should I go first?

Hi everyone.

I'm planning to have surgery done by December.... haven't picked out a surgeon yet, which it's kinda hard cause I live in the Dominican Republic. Anyways... what I wanted to know is, where should I go first?? I mean... should I go to a GP, or to an endo or just go straight to the surgeon???

unsure of how it works exactly in your country but if you go to your gp they should be able to refer you to qualified plastic surgeons. you  may need a referral from your gp for insurance purposes (if applicable)

thanx manic... i don't think insurance will cover this surgery, since it'll be done by a plastic surgeon, and if is not life-threathening, insurance will deny it on the act.

Actually, i have some friends and family who are doctors, and they've refered me to some qualified plastic surgeons, I just don't know wether to go to the PS or the endo FIRST.
