I've just visited a doctor today regarding having surgery.
He said he would liposuc and remove glands only if they had to be removed. In other words if he wasnt able to get it even without removing them..
Shouldnt he remove them anyways?
Reason i'm asking is that im afraid of spending alot of money if im not sure i will get rid of the problem.

Im 29 btw, and after i told my father i had this, he's told me that he and 3 of his 4 brothers has it as well, so i guess it is Gynecomastia.

I had the surgery 3 weeks ago and my surgeon said the same thing. I think they say it because there is no reason to remove excess tissue unless necessary, but if you do have a real case of gyno then there will be tissue removed. I had a very small amount of lipo done and a large amount of tissue removed from mine and I am so happy with the results thus far. I wouldnt worry about the comment. If he is a good surgeon, he will do what is required to get rid of the problem.
