Any Consulatants In Glasgow / Edinburgh?

I have finally got the courage up to go get my gyno seen to. I live in Edinburgh and really want to see a consultant in the central belt of Scotland. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Also is surgery possible under local anaesthetic.?

Really appreciate an advice as I am too embarrased to talk to my GP about it.

Mate, do yourself a favour & see one of the decent surgeons often suggested here. I've not heard of any up in Scotland I'm afraid so you're looking at a trip to down south to London or Birmingham.

I live a lot further north than you and got my surgery down in London. Easyjet £50 return to Luton (or about £80 to Heathrow/Gatwick if you're feeling extravagant) & a travel lodge for a night. Its peanuts in the grander scheme of things.

Its usually done under general & you would be best see your GP 1st if you can. You will most likely be one of the less memorable cases a GP has to deal with on an average day.

I can highly recommend Dr. Benito. He does consultations in London and then surgery in Barcelona.
