Message for scar tissue? Does it work?

I am having scar tissue under one side.  two week post op.  Did anyone's doctor say that message will help with scar tissue.  Mine said nothing about messaging for scar tissue.  Message areas after lipo for fatty deposits.

Any advice?

I just had lipo done 4 days ago, I go back on monday for follow up. I don't feel any scar tissue in my chest but I will see what my doc says about massaging to improve the results...
