my doc wants me to wait at least a month maybe longer. it just depends on how your healing and how you feel after. I just worked out a ton before surgery so i didnt feel as bad taking a month off...

As long as you're healing well with no complications, I say resume cardio at 3 weeks and weight lifting at 6 weeks.

It takes time to heal after a major operation.

um i got the kenalog shot. i'm a fighter. i did cardio and weight training not too long after. Dr. Howard Sutkin told me to give it a month and it would melt the scar tissues away, making my puffy nipple flatter. it was $500 just for the left side. i had 2 lypos before it

Not to minimize the importance of healing after any surgery, but I wouldn't catagorize this as a "major operation", just a procedure, as it does not involve muscle tissue or organs, simply under the skin disturance. My surgeon tends to agree.

I guess it could be major if the surgeon accidentally got to you pec muscle.

Anyhow, how is the recovery in terms of sensitivity?  I have had a couple of surgeries in my life and the scar tissue always loses nerve endings, so you either dont feel anything or feel pain.  Either way, it helps if the incision is small.

Please give some feed back on sensitivity of your nips.

Thanks.
