I'm almost 5 weeks post-op and can't feel the skin on my chest.  It's still numb.

I had drains in for 6 days.  I wore a compression vest 4 weeks 24/7.

Questions:
Did/do you also have this problem?
Is your chest skin still numb?
If it got better, how long did it take to get some sensation back?

Anybody?  Did anyone have decreased skin sensation in their chest as long as 6 weeks after surgery?  Cause that's where I'm at now.  Take a moment and reply please.

OMG dude... 4 weeks straight, 24/7....  that's a tad excessive...

Being 5 weeks+ Post-Op, I don't think you should have skin numbness. That doesn't sound right to me my man. Touch base with your PS about this...

My skin was numb for a few weeks but then feeling in the general area returned. My nipples were completely numb for about 15 years afterwards but feeling returned a few years ago, almost overnight.
