Fluid after surgery.

Today is day 5 after my sugery and while i was massaging i felt liquid inside. It moves from side to side when i press the center of my chest . Any reason why? Some please comment.

I had the same thing, it was just weird scratching there because it would make an almost hollow noise. Im 2 weeks post op right now and it seems to be gone from there (it felt almost bloated there, now it just feels normal and makes no noise). Im not sure what to do except wait for your body to clear it out, and I dont think squishing it around helps - although I did it a few times just because it was weird

i have the same problem... i am 1 week post op and have a large amount of fluid biuld up under both nipples...so i took a syringe tool both sides of the chest and went to work getting it out...but it seems to keep coming back....any doc on here think this is normal..does the fluid help in recovery or should it be drained
