inverted nipple 3 months after surgery

so my right nipple is still inverted 3 months post op, i read on the net that this can be caused by the nipple adhering to gland underneath the nipple that wasnt removed?? im not too happy with my results at the min, there not much better than pre op, i had put this down to scar tissue but now im thinking it may still be excess gland left behind!!
any body got any advice, my nipples still seem puffy, could this be caused by scar tissue?
