I am 45 and have lived with gyno all of my life. I've workout since I was in my late teens so my chest is pretty developed, now that I am 45, becuase of gravity things have drooped, so about 2 1/2 weeks ago I had some minor liposuction done on the lower part of my chest so they would no longer droop. The Dr. I chose has performed hundreds of these procedures for about 20 years and assures me I will get the results I want which is a smoother chest that won't droop after the swelling has gone down and by the 6 month. I've been wearing the very uncomfortable post-op vest every day and night as told I should but quite frankly, I see very little, if any difference at all. As of today a lot of the swelling has gone down and the brusing has dissapeared.

Has anybody gone through the same experience when you first got the procedure done? and did you see definate results 6 months later? Maybe I'm being too impatient and am obsessing over this and should just continue to wear the vest and hang tight?

thanks!

Well unless you were diagnosed with pseudogynecomastia, lipo alone won't solve your problem. True gynecomastia, at least from all the surgeons/ articles/ message board posts I've read, can only be solved with a combination of excision of the gland and lipo to contour the chest. Go back and speak with your PS to see what's up with his procedure. Good luck with everything!

You're just 2 1/2 weeks in my man... Give you body at least 3 months, before passing judgment on your results...

what he said.  in some cases it may take even longer, 6 months or a year, though probably not.

freaking out after an op is N-O-R-M-A-L  ;)
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?
