okay, I'm about 7 months post op and I'm having some weird problems with skin(areola). When I'm hot and I stand up straight, the skin is completely flat. When it's cold, the skin shrivels up and pokes out to where it's pretty visible even when I'm wearing a shirt. Also, If I lean over it looks like I have puffy nips. Does anyone have any idea what going on?
thanks

Can anyone help me out with this? Is there any kind of areola reduction surgery? Could this be considered a revision?

I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding what  you're saying; but isn't that normal? When I'm cold my nipples shrivel up and stick out more, don't everyones?  :D
Had surgery with Dr. Karidis (London, UK) on 23rd July. Wearing tight t-shirts and looking forward to going swimming!

My experience so far & updates:

Yes, but when hot, mine are a little bigger than a quarter and COMPLETELY FLAT, but when cold or bothered, they're smaller than a dime, and they jut out enough to see through me shirt and it make my chest look really pointy, like I have gyne again. If I raise my arms or pull my shoulders back, my chest is really flat, but if I slouch it gets pointy. I just don't understand what's going on!

One of my friends has something similar tbh, when it gets cold his nipples look huge under his t-shirt... We just say he's smuggling raisins under his shirt  ;D

Honestly I can't tell you what I think. To me it sounds normal, but you seem convinced something isn't right. Your options I guess are to contact your surgeon and see what he thinks. If you feel comfortable enough to post some pictures that might help other people on the forum see what's going on and give you some advice.

What you are describing is the normal, physiological change that occurs when areolas are exposed to temperature or emotional fluctuations.

If you had any residual tissue, it should show under both circumstances.  Check with your surgeon in any case.

Before my surgery, when it was cold my areolas would shrink up and my chest actually looked really good, like I didn't have gyne. Now I'm having the reverse problem. When it's warm my areolas are big, but completley flat. But when It's cold, they shrink up REALLY small and poke out way to much. My surgeon just keeps telling me everything looks great. He won't listen, he just keeps saying it's normal. It can't be normal because it seems like no one here has this problem or any idea about what's going on.
Any thoughts?

in my case (pre-op) it's the opposite; when it is worm or gone to sauna; sky's the limit; puffy nipples; and when it is cold; or having cold shower; they go back to normal.
