Newbie-What are my odds?

OK, I'm 24 years old had gyno since I was 17.  Just got a good job about seven months ago with a good health plan, BCBS.  I just visited the doctor this morning and he found a lump under my left breast, he wants me to have a mammogram test.  The doctor says that having this test done will increase my chances of  having my insurance pay for the surgery. I complain to him about pain on my breast, not being able to sleep face down, all of that.  You guys are the expert on this matter, what do you guys think, do I have a shot?

bcbs like almost everyone isn't gyne friendly, though it always depends just a little on individuals.  physical pain definitely helps you like he said, whereas if it gives you major depression they don't give a s**t.  you have a better shot but no guarantee.  do a little site searching on the new york court ruling for background, and good luck.
