1 month post-op, still have a huge hematoma!

It's been a month since my surgery and I still have a massive build up of liquid/hard tissue under my skin. It's only on my right side. He tried to drain it once but it was to thick to drain with the syringe so he took me into day surgery and froze my right side. Then he layed my on my side and kinda pushed all the jello-ish blood out of me.. Anyways after all that it came back and is just as big as it was before. Is it normal to have this ongoing issue for so long?
