Hi everybody.

I am a 27 year old male 6'4 and weigh 17 stone.

I have had major issues with GYNO for the last 2-3 years and it is starting to get me down.

Here is a brief history.

I was quite thin growing up and tried everything to gain weight, I had puffy nips when I was a teenager but I guess this was due to growing up and kind of cleared up in my early 20's.

In 2003 after 4 years of natural weight training I did a course of Test & Nandrolone and with a good diet took me from 13 stone to 15-16 stone. I have never took any anabolic steriod since this time nearly 6 years ago.

In 2004 I injured my lower back which it slowly got worse over time and so my GP prescribed me TRAMADOL 100mg (For Pain), VOLSAID (Anti Inflammatory) and also Zispin (Anti- Depressant which I found help me sleep better at night). I was on these for a good 5 years and have come off them within the last 6 months.

In 2008 I had a spinal operation to remove a bulged disk and so my back pain has 90% gone.

My problem with gyno started about 2-3 years ago when I noticed my nipples were very puffy and sensitive to touch. Over a very short time I noticed a lump under nipple and then ductal fibres were getting bigger around the whole breast area. Again Very painful to touch and caused a sharp pain when pressed.

My GP sent me to consultant in 2009 who gave me a gyno opp within 3 months on the NHS to remove the lumps and fatty tissue which was done by a small incision around my nipples and got rid of most of the lumps and scar was not noticable. All was fine for around 4 months

But my Nipples have again become very puffy and Ductal fibres are growing since he opp and seem the be growing by the day which is very painfull.

I have had 5-6 blood tests for test estrogen/oestradol prolactin and liver function and all come back normal.

I have tried Dostinex but this does not seem to have any effect and Novadex which has no effect.  I have tried Letrozole which may of had a small effect on sensitivity.

I have been referred to a endocrine specialist and am due to see then April 6th.

I just have no idea what is causing my gyno as gp says my blood work is all normal.

I also have a very bad pain under my right rib cage at bottom but again my Liver function is normal.

I am thinking if the meds for my back pain has had a role to play or if I have some other hormone problem that has yet to be discovered.

The symtoms get a lot worse at night and is painfull to sleep on my chest.

Reguarding diet it is all clean and I have tried changing things around to see if it was maybe foods causing my problems but still no joy.

I have not stepped foot in a gym since my back operation and have gained a bit of excess weight around my hips etc.

Hopefully somebody on here can maybe give some advice etc.

Breast tenderness is one of the Symptoms of Gynecomastia that is a Red Flag, and should be evaluated by an experienced Endocrinologist before surgery.

Gynecomastia Surgery does not prevent breast regrowth. If there is a factor stimulating breast growth, having that stabilized first is so much better than having recurrence. No matter what technique is used in surgery, shreds of gland are left behind that can regrow. That is why I prefer to work in stable problems whenever possible.

Some problems are quite a challenge to uncover and patience can be important. However, once the stimulation factor is relieved, some shrinkage may occur. Once that stops, then issues for possible revision surgery can be explored.

Hope this helps,
