consult/surgery question

so im planning on booking a consult with Dr. Lista and Dr. Fielding regarding my gyne. i was just wondering how im to go about this. do i just call their office and book? do i have to go though my family doctor (i'd really rather not)? how long did it take some of you guys to get a consult from either of these surgeons?

For the consultation, you just call and they will book it for you as soon as possible.
As for surgery, I think Dr. Lista takes his patients quicker, usually 3 weeks after consultation (if you decide to go with it).
I heard the wait with Fielding is much longer. But you never know. Like you said, do a consultation with both and decide which
is best for you. With Dr. Lista, you will need blood work done and a physical by your family doctor and you do this after you have
scheduled the surgery. Hope this helps...
