had surgery the 5th. feeling great

Hey guys.  Been lurking since the beginning of the summer.  Learned quickly what had plagued my most of my life. Reacted quickly and saw an endocrinologist, who refereed me to a surgeon.  Had my surgery on the 5th.  I leave for college in a few weeks and I'm excited to start a new chapter in my life with out the burden of the G.

Congrats. I was really hoping to get my done before going back to college, but it doesn't look likely. Guess it'll be more wearing unbearably hot compression shirts until I figure out the financing for mine.

You'll get 3/4 of it back in form of scar tissue, so i wouldn't be so happy
