I'm going to see an endocrinologist next week for help with my gynecomastia.  What should I be asking of the Dr and how can they help me?  Before I decide on surgery I want to see a Dr to make sure there are no serious underlying problems.

Obviously, your endo will want to know your complete medical history, including any physician prescribed medications, any illegal meds and any supplements or steroids that you may have taken.  He will also want to know if any other members of your family have gyne.  He will also go into your sexual history in terms of libido, onset of puberty, etc.

Once all your test results are available, he will make recommendations for possible treatment or perhaps refer you to a surgeon for consideration of surgery.

Good luck!
