A coworker of mine recently told me I should start juicing (not because of gyne- we were just talking about healthy eating/drinking)
I became interested and did research and found that wheatgrass juice has many benefits to our bodies. I'm prepared to buy a masticating juicer, to juice leafy greens, carrots, and all other sorts of produce to get some lean nutrients in me.
My main question is in regards to wheatgrass- I've read it's good for weight loss, but is there anything in there that can increase estrogen or anything that will make me worse off?
Also any other produce I should avoid while juicing?

I'm really excited to get started and have been reading about raw eating and how full of nutrients and energized you are after doing it for a bit. Especially wheatgrass juice.

If anyone has more information, or a good site that would clear some of my questions up- please do let me know.

that's interesting. I'm not sure if wheatgrass juice will contribute to gyne.  It's funny that you post this because I actually came across some juice I was thinking of ordering the other day, and some person commented that "he felt it lowered his testosterone".  Similar ingredients?  Here's the amazon link to the juice.  Check out the second comment down.  Actually, I just tried posting the link, and it's prohibited.  But if you're interested, just go to amazon.com and paste in the search "Berry Green Whole Foods by New Chapter". Anyhow, don't know if that directly answers your question. But it's something I'm curious about as well.  I try to keep fit and drink these drinks, so I'll be following this post.

I seriously doubt that any herbal or supliment would have a serious effect upon a person who was consuming an otherwise well balanced diet.

Obviously there are some herbs that have meidcinal value which can be toxic. Digitalis being a good example.

For the most part though there are other things more worth your concern.

You're definitely right to consider juicing rather than buying it from a carton. What most people don't realise is that packaged fruit/veg juices are pasteurized which kills most of the vitamin-C and nutrients.

Hi hatemymoobs,
I am taking wheat grass juicing after I heard the benefits of wheat grass Juicing from my nutritionist.
It is best for losing weight and don't have any side effects also.
In the beginning I didn't like the taste but now I am use to of it.

My mom had been making veggie/fruit juices lately, and they make me FEEL healthier! I like them, some more than other because they don't taste great (carrots, watermelon, beets, etc.) Pretty weird combinations, but hey! Pretty much 1 or 2 free fruit and veggie servings per glass.
