hi i wanted to know in regards to puffy nipples, if i got them through puberty will they most likely go through puberty or stay with me forever, needing surgery to correct them?

Puffy nipples as well as gynecomastia can often appear during puberty.  For many young men, being patient and waiting it out is the answer -- it most often diminishes in size if not vanishes completely.

But for an unfortunate few, it does remain -- and then the best answer is surgery.

It would be worthwhile to wait at least two years or more to give your body a chance to diminish it before you consult with a doctor.
